Molasses Spice Cookies

Molasses Spice Cookies
1 ¾ c flour 1 t. baking soda
1 t ginger 1 t cinnamon
¼ t cloves ¼ t. salt
1 c sugar ¾ sugar
¾ c butter 1 egg
¼ c molasses
White chips and chopped walnuts (opt)

Combine dry. Beat sugar and butter – add egg and molasses. Beat in flour mixture. Chill 20 minutes. Roll into balls. Roll in walnuts. Bake 9-11 minutes at 375. Cool on sheets for 2 minutes before removing.
